Answer: IPfarm is an open IP creation, sharing, preserve, benefit and profit sharing system. We provide an open, fair, efficient information system and frame work for whoever capable and winging to create useful intellectual property (IP). We at PDK101.COM check and maintain the accuracy and quality of the submit IP for all potential customers. PDK101.com will exercise all its strength and make it always the top priority to protect all users' ideas, effort, information and IP, because we really believe in this universe can be much better if everybody follow the rule that (1) "Treat other people just like you want be treated", (2) "With High Quality mindset, together with high Quality component and system, then you can deliver Highest Quality product and service!" Question: Who can create IP and use IPfarm to share, preserve, protect and profit from your own knowledge and effort?
Answer: IPfarm is suitable to everyone, as long as those individual willing and capable to create those kind of IP that are useful for themselves or for other people. These IP can be from Integrated Circuit design Blocks, System Block simulation package, automation execution scripts, product and market analysis etc. The perfect IPfarm users can be individuals, educational instutions, college students, research institutes or Laboratories, small and medium private companies.

Question: What kind of Intellectual Property can be submit using IPfarm into PDK101.com?
Answer: In general all kind of useful and systematic information to help and facilitate faster, accurate and robust circuit and/or system design are welcome. .Currently, we are focus on only electronics circuit or system design. Later on the IP scope maybe change.if needs come.

Question: What is the minimum required materials for submission?
Answer: It varies because it all depends on the nature of the IP you created and submit. However the gidelines for submission are that the IP can be independently double checked and verified. Also the supporting documents are in good quality and in sync with the submit IP materials.

For example, if your IP is for Integrated Circuit design, then we would require the following elements if possible.

(1) Circuit design schematic in Orcad Schematic or AWR Microwave office.
(2) Clear, accurate and detail description of circuit functionality and operational modes in Word document format.
(3) A PDF version of the above described document with submitter name, affiliation, school or institute and date.
(4) Design specification Pass/Fail specification in XML format. You can download design spec XML format from pdk101.com after you register with pdk101.com.
(5) Test Bench Netlist and detail circuit netlist in ASCII format.
(6) SPICE model files and source for your simulation based on.
(7) If hardIP such as GDS file, then the details of process technology, Foundry Fab, PDK verification and tools used to validate hardIP are needed.

Question: What to proceed after I have read the above submission procedure?
Answer: Download agreement pdf from the pdk101.com/IPfarm/agreement read it over and choose your own passkey for setting up an IPfarm account.

(1) email to customer_support@pdk101.com and/or 940 372 2172 for initial IP submission consulting. Email is preferable at this time (as of July 2012).
(2) If your IP package is quite ready, then gather and arrange all your IPfarm elements into one compressed file and ftp to pdk101.com/submission_portal.
(3) You will receive a confirmation email once the ftp upload is done successfully.
(4) Staff at PDK101.com will start communicating with you about bring your IP elements into PDK101.com.We will verify the accuracy of your IP materials, if that meet IPfarm's quality standard and format, then it will be checkined into IPfarm database for future use. If IP information or accuracy is not clear or accurate enough, then there will be some back and forth discussion, review process to address all concerns.
